She/Her/Hers (learn more)
Trauma and mental health conditions can be the kind of things that always linger or that just remain dormant for years only to resurface in an intense way. Everyone’s journey is unique, and I am here to guide you and help you heal.
I am a military veteran and have a Master of Social Work from the University of Nebraska Omaha. I am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner in the State of Nebraska and a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the State of Iowa. Previously, I have worked at Children’s Square USA, Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska, and Promise Ship (formerly Nebraska Families Collaborative).
With almost 10 years of experience working within the mental health field and child welfare and foster care systems, I have helped children, families, and adults work through issues as varied as depression, anxiety, problematic sexual behavior in youth, sexual abuse, and adoption and attachment.
I am R-Safe endorsed and trained in several evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Sand Tray Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
With our busy schedules, it can be easy to put off getting help. I will work with you to schedule at a time and pace that works for you or your family.
Email me to schedule an appointment or call (402) 915-2431.
