They/Them/Theirs (learn more)
When you make a decision to begin therapy for yourself or a loved one, you are making a decision to be vulnerable and courageous. Over the past 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside hundreds of individuals and their families as they overcome difficulties and learn how to navigate life when it becomes tough.
My work focuses primarily with children who sexually harm other children, child victims of sexual trauma, and adult survivors of childhood sexual trauma. In addition, I have extensive knowledge and expertise in working with those struggling with attachment, anxiety, depression, or symptoms stemming from other trauma experiences. I also have a passion for working with and providing a safe, therapeutic space to persons that identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community and their family. I am trained in many early childhood models of therapy, including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Circle of Security-Parenting.
As a psychotherapist, I approach each client and their unique experiences from a place of patience and compassion. I believe that for a person to heal from their pain and move beyond their struggle, they must first have a sense of safety and connection. A therapeutic relationship with my clients is a necessity for change and growth. Together, using evidence-based practices, we will develop a path of treatment that leads you or your loved one to healing.
